v1 Atlas/Sales
Customers
Customer records, balances and the walk-in customer.
Sales → Customers (130). Customers are also created automatically from the sale form when you type a new phone number.

Form#
| Field | Rule |
|---|---|
| Name (contact person) | Required |
| Phone | Required, 11 digits — it is the lookup key at the counter |
| City | Required |
| Email, Address, State, Zip Code, Country | Optional |
| Opening Balance | What they owed when you started |
| Is Reseller? | Marks trade customers |
The list#
Search covers name, contact and location. The Outstanding balance column is tinted by sign. It equals opening balance + the balance of each non-cancelled invoice (each invoice balance floored at zero). Customers with no name are listed only while they owe money.
Row actions: Edit, Delete; select several to delete. The customer's invoices, payments and credit notes refresh when you edit.
Walk-in customers#
A sale with a phone that has no record, or a short phone, is a walk-in: it appears as Phone – Walkin Customer in pickers.
