v1 Atlas/Catalog setup
Software
Operating systems and other software.
Software is a small list (permission codes 496 add / 497 edit / 498 delete) with a side-panel form:
| Field | Values |
|---|---|
| Name | e.g. Windows 11 Pro |
| Type | OS or General |
Only entries of type OS appear in the laptop form's OS drop-down. Nothing else references software, so editing it has no side effects.
