Accounts & payment setup
Chart of accounts, payment methods, banks, mobile wallets and online gateways.
Set these up once. They decide where money moves.
Chart of accounts#
Accounting → Chart of Accounts (650; 651 add, 652 edit, 653 delete)

Balances are computed live from posted journal lines: Asset / Expense accounts opening + debits − credits; the others opening + credits − debits. An account that already has transactions cannot be deleted — it is deactivated instead. The trial balance reads this tree.

Type matters: Cash and Card methods clear immediately; every other type waits for Verify. Deleting is a soft deactivate.

The linked account picker lists Asset accounts only. Each row can be edited, activated / deactivated or deleted (soft). Banks, wallets and gateways feed the payment-method list.
WARNING
Gateway keys are credentials. Grant permission 640 only to people who should hold them.
